Casa Papa Don has been our home away from home since 2022. Back in 2016, Haley, Don’s youngest daughter, moved to mainland Honduras to serve children with a non-profit called The Children’s Home Project. Don and Kathi quickly realized that a visit to see Haley in Honduras was best spent on the island of Roatan. Don and Kathi fell in love with West Bay for its calm, turquoise waters and the incredible snorkeling just off the shore.

This place has become a gathering spot for Don & Kathi and their three daughters, their husbands, and six grandchildren who lovingly call Don “Papa.” Whether it is escaping Nebraska winters, coming to see Haley, or bringing new friends to experience the magic of Roatan, we are lucky to get here regularly to relax. Our goal in renting our condo is that you too will come to love this tropical paradise and know that while you stay with us, 100% of the profit from your rental will go towards The Children’s Home Project, where Haley works diligently on the mainland to help improve the lives of vulnerable Honduran children.
